From Remploy Birmingham we supply more than 1.3m units a year in 80 final assembly variants to Land Rover, Jaguar, Aston Martin and BMW. These include mechanical and electro-mechanical sub assemblies of fuel systems and cooling systems, fuel filters, thermostat hoses, oil cooler assemblies, air and water coolers, fuel and brake pipes and hoses.
Although we supply a high number of variants, we regularly achieve Zero Defects PPM. This is made possible by our commitment to error proofing, and right-first-time build processes. Our unique Poka Yoke assembly jigs guarantee delivered quality and help us maintain our Q1 and TS16949 quality supplier accreditations.
From Remploy South Wales in Bridgend, we supply Ford, Arvin Meritor, Harman, and Bergstrom with electrical wiring harnesses, cables, switchgear, electrical control boxes, engine and brake system assemblies and kits.
Based in a modern factory occupying 20,000 sq ft, we are located right on the M4 (J35) and are well placed for the business network across Wales and Southern England.
We assemble commercial and industrial lighting systems, refrigeration system wiring and bespoke wiring looms. Remploy Bridgend has a commitment to quality and is accredited with TS16949, ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO18001 quality management systems.
Specialist Vehicles
From our SV site in North Staffs (Stoke-on-Trent) we provide a low volume/high complexity sub-assembly facility, along with kitting and supply chain management services to the construction, commercial, agricultural and leisure vehicle industries. We provide a JIT delivery service to customers on a free-issue or procured part basis.
Existing key customers include key construction equipment manufacturers. Potential new customers could include rail, marine, MoD and public transport sector industries.
North Staffs is a modern site occupying 6,000 sq m and employing 170 trained staff. It is ideally placed near the M6 to supply customers from the East Midlands and the North of England.
Remploy Automotive provides a wide range of vehicle modules and mechanical/ electro-mechanical vehicle systems for off-highway or specialist vehicle OEMs.
